Alta Hair Studio is an environmentally conscientious Eco hair salon.
The salon has been recently established by Claire McEvoy, a highly experienced stylist who having already founded a successful salon in Bakewell over 7 years ago, decided it was time to build a base closer to her home in the High Peak. Claire is committed to changing salon practice to be as sustainable as possible, and led the way with an Eco approach to the renovation of the disused old shop into a clean, modern stylish salon space. The salon has joined the Green Salon Collective recycling scheme, and are a Davines appointed Salon.
At Alta we only sell products we believe in. We are stockists of Davines, Olaplex and Moroccan Oil. All ranges offer a selection of hair care and styling products which cover all hair types and textures.
Davines has been chosen for its strong sustainability ethos and commitment to a high quality professional prescriptive range of hair and scalp care, alongside an everyday hair care and styling range with products sourced from farms local to the production site in Italy, where farmers are supported to protect endangered crops to maintain environmental diversity.
Moroccan Oil has built its reputation on being the original Argan Oil hair products producer and are committed to giving back to the community, and inspiring others to do the same whilst having a forward-thinking sustainability plan and are commited to fighting ocean plastic.
Olaplex is devoted to developing and maintaining sustainable products with environmental, social, and economic benefits while protecting the environment over the entire lifecycle of the product.OLAPLEX is free of Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates and Phosphates.
